The biggest unsolved problem in Pakistani retail investing is double bookkeeping. You trade in your broker’s app. You track in Equivest. Reconciling them by hand every weekend is friction nobody wants.
Equivest is plugged into Pakistan’s five major retail brokers — AKD, Topline, JS Global Capital, Arif Habib Limited (AHL), and Pearl Securities — at the UI + waitlist layer today. The moment any of them ships a developer API, we wire the live adapter behind the same UI and your account syncs automatically.
Why no live integration yet
No Pakistani broker publishes a public developer API. We’ve talked to all five; APIs are on the roadmap at most of them, but timelines are TBD.
Rather than wait, we shipped two things you can use today:

Demo import — every broker card has a “Try demo import” button. Tap it → the Bulk Import sheet opens with a realistic broker statement pre-filled in that broker’s actual paste format. You walk through the import flow exactly as you would with a real export. It’s the cleanest way to feel how the live integration will work.

Waitlist — tap “Notify when API ships” on any broker. We track which brokers users are waiting for the most. When 200 people are waitlisted for AKD, that’s a useful data point we can hand to AKD’s product team.
What changes when a broker opens an API
Nothing in the UI. You’ll see:
- Status chip flips from COMING SOON → LINKED
- Your positions auto-import on first connect
- Subsequent trades sync within minutes
- IPO subscriptions you placed in the broker app populate Equivest’s IPO tracker
- Dividend / bonus / right-share events populate the corporate-actions catalog
Waitlist users go first.
Demo statement formats
Each broker exports differently. The demo flow uses the actual format you’d paste from each broker’s statement:

Equivest’s Bulk Import parser handles all four format families — so every broker exercises a different code path through the same import flow.
Bulk Import in the meantime
You don’t have to wait. Settings → Data → Bulk import transactions lets you paste rows from any broker statement (or upload the file) and Equivest parses up to 10,000 rows in one go. Same parser the broker integrations use behind the scenes.
Equivest is not affiliated with any broker. We’re an independent portfolio tracker. The eventual broker integrations will be read-only (positions + transactions + cash) — we do not and will not place trades on your behalf.
